Stalked by Google

I came a cross something rather strange that I thought I would share with you all.

This is a screen shot of a google map using the "Street View" feature. While Steve and I were bored one day, we decided to street view all of our old addresses. This is a picture of his apartment, where he lived before we got married.

Check out the car infront of the house...Yep... That's my car (Norman).

I find it quite bizzar (or maybe quite fitting) to have my car imortalized on Google maps as being part of the Street View infront of Steve's old Apartment.

Major accomplishments and minor snaffoos

After much work, then getting bussy, then more work, then getting bussier, Stephen and I have finally mailed in our completed Church Planting Associate Applications. I let myself be a bit later than normal to work to get what I thought were the last few details sorted out on my appliation. As I was putting it in the envelope I noticed it still needed a picture. Shoot. I was sure I'd find somthing later, so I ran off to work.
I was so excited to hear that Stephen found pictures of both of us to attatch to the applications, and then sent them off in the mail.

It feels so good to have that off in the mail.

Now for the minor Snaffoo.
I remembered I needed to get a Transcript of my College, and Pacific is being well... ummm.... quite frustrating.

I just have to keep chanting my new montra "All in God's Time."

What a morning

This morning, while hanging out in our bedroom, we heard our cat, Marzipan, crash in through the pet door. Nothing strange here, this is her normal routine. She sleeps in our bed most of the night, goes to play early in the morning, then comes back home in time to wake me up. This usually comes with a pathetic cry, most likely for her breakfast, but I have decided she is asking where I am.
This morning, her entry did not come with the standard greeting. Instead Steve and I hear her crashing around in the kitchen. I got up to investigate, mainly to make sure she hadn't gotten into last night's dinner dishes.
When I walked into the kitchen I was greeted with an explosion of feathers.

"STEPHEN! Come see what Marzi is doing."

Our cat caught a bird. a LIVE bird. Which she was proceeding to beat to death in our kitchen.

We quickly helped the bird outside and locked Marzipan inside.

How I miss the days when she thought caterpillars were honorable presents.

Stephen, helped me look on the bright side of this exciting morning.
"At least she didn't bring it to us in bed."
